A FILM-TRIBUTE TO EDGAR ALLAN POE, OSCAR WILDE AND JAMES JOYCE BY 6A

As class 6A expressed the wish to read “classics”, they were split into three groups. Each group read two stories by Edgar Allan Poe, Oscar Wilde and James Joyce respectively, and then produced a film in pairs or groups of three based on one of the stories. The task was to focus on one scene and to include an extreme close-up and a Dutch tilt. The rest of the story had to be told in photos with voice overs.

The class also wrote stories in the style of “their” authors, trying to capture the atmosphere as well as the main motifs.

We proudly present the films as well as three stories by Katharina Erdei, Marie Hofmann and Isabella Zentner-Groebl as an homage to each of the great authors.
